These four world class tennis legends – with a combined 42 Grand Slam titles – played in three separate matches: Andre and pickleball pro Jack Sock versus McEnroe and pickleball pro James Blake; Stefanie and Sock against Sharapova and Black; and finally, Stefanie and Andre took on McEnroe and Sharapova. Stefanie and Andre won across the board! In sweeping the entire event, Andre and Sock prevailed against McEnroe and Blake in three sets (11-7, 9-11, 11-8), Stefanie and Sock captured the win against Sharapova and Black in three sets (9-11, 11-8, 17-15), and Stefanie and Andre dominated McEnroe and Sharapova, defeating them in only two sets (11-7, 13-11). After the Slam, a victorious Stefanie delighted: “It was a really special event, with a great crowd and high energy. Although I felt nervous for the first time in a long while, Andre and I had the best time playing with John and Maria and hope to get back on the pickleball court against them soon!”
