In mid-June 2024, Stefanie and her husband Andre traveled to Cluj-Natoca, Romania to participate in the fifth annual Sports Festival 2024.  Stefanie and Andre not only offered a MasterClass to attendees, but also treated the BT Arena’s sold out crowd (of approximately 10,000 spectators) to an exciting mixed doubles match against Romanian contenders Simona Halep (who holds two Grand Slam titles) and Andrei Pavel.  In Stefanie’s first Romanian appearance with her husband, they were unable to defeat Halep and Pavel, who won the 8 game pro set match 8-4.
