Thanks for wanting to make a difference Aintzane. I am as well informed about the situation in the Congo to give you any specific advice but Children For Tomorrow is starting a new project in Uganda in the next few week. Check this site or Children for Tomorrow for details.

      Thanks again.

I am just finding out about this project in Eritrea, tears come to my eyes i am originaly from Eritrea and i grew up in Germany i have a cousin who has a paranoid schizophrenia i visited Eritrea after 14years in 2004 and i came back feeling worse and guilty every day knowing that i can not help him bring him with me eventhough he is not being taken care of and that if he was in the western world he would probably have a chance to recovery. He is not 38 years old his illness started when he was 16.
Neighbour’s children throw stones at him call him “mad man” my aunt takes him to priests and churches all across the country, his situation affected the whole family,

I want to thank you from my heart for this project.
It would mean a lot to me to help your project with anything in my power. How can i help?

would love to get more information…. do you have volunteers that go to Eritrea to help at your school. I am a teacher, a mom and have a great love for Eritrea. I spent many years in Ethiopia loving on kids and living with locals. The poverty is heartbreaking but the people are absolutely the most beautiful people on Earth. I grew up in Las Vegas, taught in the Clark County School District, graduated, UNLV and then moved to Lexington, Kentucky. I just read your husbands autobiography and was shocked to see the mention of Eritrea. So I immediately looked it up. Unfortuantely, there is no volunteer information so I thought I would write and ask. I would appreciate any information – I have been praying for the right place for me to dedicate some time to and as I heard Eritrea it really hit my heart. Thanks so much.

We can always use more help kathy. Best thing to do is contact the Foundation directly. You can go to our website at http://children-for-tomorrow.de and I will also forward your email to the Foundation’s director. I personally had the chance to go to Eritrea twice and, like your experience in Ethiopia, I was deeply impressed with the beauty and generosity of the people of Eritrea but also realized how much work and help they need.
