Women who Make a Difference
Longines and Town and Country Magazine sponsored the first annual Women Who make A Difference Award in order to recognize women who have done exceptional work improving the lives of children in their community. This past weekend, I was pleased and honored to participate in this year’s event to help present the awards. These women are really incredible people.
The video below is a short piece about what went on during the event and you may also read more about it here
The 2009 Women Who Make a Difference honorees are Leila de Bruyne, founder and advocate of Flying Kites; Lorri Unumb, policy advisor and counsel for Autism Speaks; and Deloris Jordan, founder of the James R. Jordan Foundation.

This is a brilliant idea. I can’t believe you have time to do such a selfless thing and for that I applaud you! You have always been my inspiration and never more than reading this.
Thank you
Catherine
