Springtime Fitness
After the long winter with quite a bit of snow compared to what we usually get in Las Vegas, I am now looking forward to warmer days. This is such a good opportunity to resume one’s outdoor sports routines.
I have to admit that I have let slide my work out routine and healthy eating habits over the last couple of winter months. But especially through tennis I was able to catch up to my physical conditioning. For example, I played with a couple of players at the Adidas training camp in Las Vegas last month. Furthermore, while preparing the “Hit for Haiti” charity match in Mid-March, I got to be on the court a lot more than usual. Already after a short time I could notice again how great tennis is for conditioning, rapidness and power and thus is a great workout for the whole body.
So now that the weather is getting nicer, tennis is a great opportunity to do sports – just go on a court with friends and family to play a single or double. And the warmer weather also ushers in the clay season for us players and viewers in front of the TV.
Besides playing tennis outdoors, I am also looking forward to go jogging in the mountains with my dog, and to enjoy nature, the fresh air and sunrays, because doing sport outdoors is just so refreshing for body and soul. Also, for the next couple of weeks I will take on to eat more healthily, more vegetables, fruits and less sweets – because the bikini-season is almost here, too…
100% d’accord avec vous sur le caractère indispensable et tellement bénéfique de la nature, de la nourriture saine, du plein-air, du sport sur la santé! Il ne faut pas oublier aussi l’Amour qui est la condition première pour être disposé à profiter de ces dons de Dieu.
Je vis en ville et si j’avais pu je vivrai à la campagne, près d’un lac et d’une prairie. J’adore les prairies, les grands espaces verts d’Irlande. La forêt d’automne du Canada me ravit chaque année le coeur. Et je rêve de découvrir les grands espaces des USA, de l’Australie et d’Afrique du Sud.
Je ne comprends pas que ce soit maintenant que certains huamins se soient rendus compte à quel point la nature est première à l’existence. Cela est tellement évident que c’est par la nature que le Créateur a commencé.
On nous donne tellement de produits pour la santé quand il faut parfois simplement améliorer l’alimentation et les conditions de vie!
Chère Steffi, vous êtes une fille de la nature, une fille vraie, qui aime les choses belles et saines. vous n’avez pas l’esprit vicié par les choses factices. Et c’est pour cela que tant de gens vous aiment!
Ceci étant dit, Quel cadeau allez vous offrir à votre chéri pour ses 40 ans? Un beau voyage en Australie sur les traces des kangourous, qu’en dîtes vous?
L’important est de faire du sport, le tennis si on le peut ou autrechose!
Le Bikini, est ce vraiment important? (rires)
Je suis peut-être vieux jeu mais je n’aime pas montrer mon corps à n’importe qui! Je le garde pour moi ou pour la personne que j’aime!
Mais chacun est libre de faire ses choix dans la vie, n’est ce pas!

hallo liebe steffi, wie wahr! es ist so wichtig fit zu sein – ein ganz anderes lebensgefühl für meinen körper gesund und auch stark in den alltag zu gehen.
seit letztem jahr im januar bin ich nun mitglied in meinem mrs.sporty-club – und total begeistert von diesem konzept! doch leider gehen die mitgliedszahlen in diesem club nur sehr sehr schwer nach oben. ich möchte sie herzlich einladen und bitten zu uns zu kommen und für unseren club zu werben! es wäre so schade, wenn es den mrs.sporty-club in der karlsruher innenstadt nicht mehr geben würde. ich freue mich darauf sie evtl. bald mal kennen zu lernen! viele liebe grüße an sie, renate
