“Hit for Haiti” in Indian Wells
In a few days the charity match “Hit for Haiti” will take place during the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells and I am very much looking forward to being a part of it.
On March 12, 2010 – 2 months after the devastating earthquake in Haiti – I will join 7 former and active tennis players to participate in a benefit exhibition to help fund some of the much needed aid in that country.
On the women’s side, Justine Henin and Martina Navratilova will play against Lindsay Davenport and myself to collect donations for the American Red Cross Haiti Relief. In the men’s double Pete Sampras and Roger Federer will compete against Rafael Nadal and my husband Andre Agassi. The charity event will start at 7.30 pm PST with the women’s double.
After the fantastic response and significant funds raised for the first “Hit for Haiti” during the Australian Open, we now hope that we can raise up to USD 1 million during this second charity event. This money will be used by the American Red Cross for essential needs of the people in Haiti, such as water, food, blankets and medicine.
We are hoping to mobilize as many spectators and donors as possible to help the people of Haiti.
Steffi, all the best for this event – your dedication to charity work is inspiring – like we witnessed in your tennis, your effort in everything you do has an uplifting power… thanks for making a marked difference in the world.

I just regret that some tennis players were so degusting with Andre when he talked about meth using that not permit him to win. Why were they so angry towards Andre? tennis players must be friends, must be brothers! Andre has not kill anyone!
Can you tell to Navratilova that she was very degusting with Andre. It wasn’t necessary!
Andre’s book is very interesting. Andre is a great champion. But the most important thing, he is a very good man, isn’t he?
People who know Andre and people who read his book know how beautiful heart he has.

I haven’t watched much tennis since you and evert retired. I will be watching this up coming event to watch the greatest female player of all time once again! Thank you!

J’ai entendu que tu voulais un 3e enfant! Je te le souhaite de tout mon coeur! 40 ans, c’est le bel âge pour avoir un poupon dont on va s’occuper avec sérénité, sans le stress de l’inexpérience. Et puis, laissez faire la vie, laissez faire votre amour et ne vous souciez pas de toutes les bêtises écrites!

André va avoir 40 ans
André aime avant les liens humains davantage que les choses matérielles
Pour son anniversaire, je vous propose donc ces idées:
1. Un week-end en amoureux dans l’hôtel de votre premier rendez-vous ou la ferme au nord de New ou vous vous êtes découverts pour la première fois
2. Un cadeau de ses enfants: une prestation musicale avec Jaden à la guitare et Jaz au chant, sur fond des plus belles images de la vie de leur papa pour lui signifier combien ils l’aiment et combien il est un papa génial
3. Un cadeau des élèves (anciens et actuels) de l’école Agassi, tous dans les tenues d’André quand il jouait au tennis, chantant Lean On Me pour signifier à André qu’ils sont là eux aussi pour Lui, comme il est là pour eux!
4. Un voyage en Australie, ce pays qu’André chérit, sur la trace des aborigènes dont André s’est identifier dans son livre ou un voyage en Arménie sur la trace de l’histoire des Agassi afin qu’André se connaisse mieux!
5. Un magnifique petit ou petite “intruse” de plus à venir! André adore les enfants et tant que vous pouvez en avoir ne vous gênez pas! Quand on aime on ne compte pas! Un enfant, c’est l’amour! Rien d’autre!
Et n’oubliez pas de continuer de lui montrer et de lui dire au quotidien combien vous l’aimez, car au delà de tout c’est de votre amour dont il a besoin, c’est cela qui le rend heureux!
